Your site in search

A channel site is ready for search from day one: it has its own address, a sitemap and structured post markup. Below is what is done for you, how to connect the search consoles and what to do if pages are still missing from results.

Already done

  • Canonical address — a subdomain like name.inero.ai or your own domain; old inero.ai/channel/… links redirect to it.
  • robots.txt and sitemap.xml on the site address: /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml. The sitemap lists the home page, feed pages and every post with modification dates.
  • RSS feed at /rss.xml, Schema.org markup for the site and every post, a share image.
  • IndexNow: Yandex and Bing learn about new posts right away instead of waiting for a crawl.
  • The site is added to the Inero service Yandex Webmaster account automatically: we verify it with a service tag in the page code, submit the sitemap and request a crawl of the home page. The Inero account will be visible in the access list of your own Webmaster; indexing numbers are shown in the site settings.

    Add the site

    In Webmaster click “Add site” and enter the site address: https://name.inero.ai or your domain — as shown in the “Sites” section of the dashboard.

    Choose the “Meta tag” method

    Webmaster shows a tag like <meta name="yandex-verification" content="…">. Copy it whole.

    Paste the code in the dashboard

    “Sites” → site settings → “SEO” → “Site verification in search consoles”, the “Yandex Webmaster” field. Save, then click “Check” in Webmaster.

    Point to the sitemap

    In Webmaster: “Indexing” → “Sitemap files” → add https://your-site/sitemap.xml.

Google Search Console

    Add a property

    In Search Console pick the “URL prefix” property type and enter the site address with https://.

    Choose the “HTML tag” method

    Copy the shown <meta name="google-site-verification" content="…"> tag whole.

    Paste the code in the dashboard

    The same “Site verification in search consoles” block, the “Google Search Console” field. After saving click “Verify” in Search Console.

    Submit the sitemap

    In Search Console: “Sitemaps” → enter sitemap.xml → “Submit”.

How to speed it up

  • Put the site link in the channel description and pin a post with it: search engines follow links.
  • Keep the site in the inero.ai catalog (the checkbox in the same dashboard section): a link from the main domain helps discover a new subdomain.
  • IndexNow is already on — nothing to configure.

If pages are missing from results

  • Open the site in an incognito window: it must show without signing in.
  • View the home page source (Ctrl+U): the <head> must contain the meta tag with the saved code.
  • The first pages usually appear within days, the full archive within two weeks. Progress is visible in Webmaster and Search Console.
